Meet the Owner
Ebony Dukes, PHR, MHRM
Ebony is a certified HR professional with more than 20 years experience in a variety of human resource functions to include operations, talent acquisition, employee records and compliance, payroll, and HR information systems. Her work experience includes managing and leading HR teams in the profit, nonprofit, and government sectors. Before settling in the HR industry, she served 8 years in the Army as a Dental Assistant.
Close friends and family constantly asked her to write business correspondence or ask for advice on a myriad of HR topics so she jokingly told them that she was going to send them an invoice for her services. That joke later became a reality when her close network expanded to include small business owners who were overwhelmed with hiring and compliance hence Glam Link was established. Her motto is that everything happens for a reason; she doesn’t believe in happenstance. She takes great joy in helping small businesses navigate compliance and meet goals.
Ebony holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the College of Charleston and a Master of Arts in Human Resources Management from Webster University. Her education is supplemented by certifications as a Six Sigma Black Belt and a Professional in Human Resources (PHR). She recently became a published author when she self-published her first career journal through her publishing company Give it a Look See. “The Opportunities Are Endless” career journal is available on Amazon with more projects scheduled for release in the future!
